Facade, Millwork and Trim Project for DSW
We completed a fixture installation project for a retail shoe store called DSW that involved building custom wood fixtures throughout the store. The design had to stay consistent from the walls right down to the individual product shelves. The overall effect resulted in a classic looking store layout that fit nicely with the company’s brand and desired image.
The assignment involved building custom designed shoe racks that coordinated with various facades, trim and signage throughout the interior of the building. The finished wood used in this project gave the store a classic feel and look. The custom built facades and trim was designed to gently draw customers eyes towards the featured products without drawing direct focus. The millwork used throughout the project included a beautifully stained coloring that helped put this project over the top.
Crafting the image of a store offering designer product lines at discount prices took a great deal of precision, but we were thrilled with the final outcome. So often, projects like these result in elements of the design being lost in the final product. Fortunately, we were able to handle the project from design to installation and maintain consistent quality throughout the entire process.
